Authorization Activation 

Use

This function enables you to activate authorization on the Authorization Management Tool (AMT). You can define authorizations in AMT even if the authorization feature is not enabled. However, you must enable this feature to apply authorizations in the mobile client application for use during runtime. You can activate the checkbox Value in the Business Object Authorization/ System Maintenance tile set.

If the authorization entry is not available due to a problem in the prefill database, then create an entry and then select the checkbox in the Value field.

 

Prerequisites

You must ensure that one of the following predefined roles is assigned to at least one AMT user:

·        SAP_AMT_USER

·        SAP_AMT_USER_ADMINISTRATOR
