Controlling ATP Check in the Sales
Order 
Use
These functions allow you to control in the sales order in CRM Enterprise how the availability check is carried out in SAP APO.
Prerequisites
In addition to CRM Enterprise, the following minimum system requirements apply:
· SAP SCM 5.0
· SAP ECC 6.0
The system configuration for service parts management has been activated. You can find more information on this in the SAP Implementation Guide (IMG) for Customer Relationship Management under Transactions ® Basic Settings ® Activate System Configuration for Service Parts Management.
Features
In the sales order header or item you can control the ATP check by maintaining certain field values that are transferred to SAP APO.
For example, if you do not have enough stock available, you can specify for a rush order that you need to fulfill the requirement from the safety stock.

Control how SAP APO should pass back the results of the ATP check back to the sales order in case the results of the ATP check are such that the confirmed delivery date is later than requested, or the confirmed quantity is less than requested. |

Control whether the confirmed delivery dates and quantities can be accepted or not. You can also let the system cancel the item, if the ATP check cannot confirm it fully (fill or cancel). |

Access safety stock for emergency orders |

Provide additional criteria for rule determination during rules based ATP check |

Control whether SAP APO may round the confirmed quantity during ATP check |

Prevent sales order items from being shipped to a consolidation location before being shipped to the customer |
