Partners
Includes business partners that have a relationship to an individual object.
You can display and maintain the data on the business partners involved in the business transactions of an individual object. You can display all relationships in the partner history.
The following data can be maintained:
· Assigned business partners
· Corresponding partner functions
· Validity period of the relationship
· Numerator
· Denominator
· Other attributes, such as the indicator for the main partner
Several business partners can be assigned to an individual object in different or the same partner functions. A business partner can have several partner functions.

A car can have a relationship to the business partner with the partner function “Owner” and several relationships to different business partners with the partner function “Driver”.

You can limit the choice of partner functions by assigning a partner determination procedure to the functions you require.
The time constraint can refer to both the past and the future.
You can specify the percentage proportion of the relationships of an individual object for several partners using numerators and denominators.

A house can belong 50% to partner X and 50% to partner Y.
If there are several partners, you can control which partner should have the same partner function as the main partner by using the indicator for the main partner.
Check the settings for the connection of business partners to the individual objects in the implementation guide (IMG) under Basic Functions ® Partner Processing in the following IMG activities:
· Define Partner Functions
· Define Partner Determination Procedure
Assign a partner determination procedure to the relevant category in the transaction Maintain Categories and Hierarchies (COMM_HIERARCHY) in the SAP menu.
