Deleting Business Objects 

Use

You follow the steps described below to delete business objects from the system.

 

Procedure

You can delete a business object in four ways:

       1.      Select Delete from the context menu for the tile in which you are working.

       2.      Enter the shortcut keystroke CTRL + D

       3.      Select Delete from the Data menu.

       4.      Select the Delete icon from the toolbar.

If the system does not allow you to select these options, then you are not able to delete the data in the activated tile. Select a different tile set or consult the user documentation in the SAP Help Portal at help.sap.com.

Result

The system deletes the business object. 

 

Example

Two of the business partners you work with were in regular contact with one another for many years. In the mobile client application you have noted this relationship between the two companies. However, due to a recent management change, the companies no longer do business with one another. You now need to update your data by deleting this relationship from the system.

To do this, select Business Partners ® Relationships for one of the business partners. On the Business Partners/Contact Persons tile, select the corresponding business partner. Next, select Delete to delete the relationship between the two companies. Save your entries.

Your business data now accurately reflects the current business arrangement between the two companies.
