Modifying the Comment of an Existing Index
Definition 
You have created an index definition.

1. Log on to the CRM server and start the Mobile Client Index Manager by using the transaction (CMW_MIDX).
The Mobile Client Index Manager screen appears.
2. Enter the name of the table and choose Enter.
The name of the table appears in the tree.

To view the list of
tables, choose

· In addition, to select a set of tables, you can use the wild card characters asterisk (*) and percentage (%). For example, to select table names that start with SMOG, enter smog* and choose Enter. All the tables that start with SMOG appear in the tree.
3. Expand the table that appears as a node.
The Indices folder appears.
4. Expand the Indices folder.
All the index definitions for the table appear.
5. Double-click the required index definition.
The Attributes and Index Overview tabs appear.

If the index definition is already in change mode, you do not need to perform the above step.
7. Choose Modify Comment.
The editor appears with the existing comment (if any).
8. Enter the required comment.

When you modify a comment, the comment you add is appended to the existing comment (if any).
9. Save the comment.
The Create Object Directory Entry dialog box appears.
10. In the Package field, enter the name of the transportable package and choose Enter.
The Prompt for transportable Workbench request dialog box appears.
11. In the Request field, enter the transport request and choose Enter.

· To create a transport request, choose Create request.
· Add comment and modify comment are two different comments. Therefore, you can view both the comments.
