Account Volume Planning 
You use the Account Volume Planning business component to plan non-promoted sales.
In account volume planning, regular sales targets for non-promoted sales are set by the company headquarters at the product brand level. These sales targets are entered in the SEM-BPS system.
Key account managers then plan how they are going to meet those targets. They perform this planning at the account level for an individual planning customer. The target information for the planning customer is downloaded from SAP SEM to the mobile client and displayed in the Account Volume Planning business component of Mobile Sales, where the key account manager performs the account volume planning offline. Planning is driven from past sales and consumption information. Account volume planning is done in either volumes or revenues, without any discounts or trade spends.

Account Volume Planning is not available in CRM Enterprise. Therefore, when you are working in an online environment, you must update data directly in the SEM-BPS system in order to load it to the mobile client.
