Synchronizing Attachments to Activitites in CRM with Groupware  

Use

The following text will explain the steps required for the bi-directional exchange of attachments to activities and tasks in SAP CRM with appointments and tasks in Groupware.

Prerequisites

●     You have made the necessary customizing settings for the filter profile for the document exchange between the CRM and Groupware servers. This IMG activity can be found in SAP CRM Customizing under Customer Relationship Management ® Basic Functions ® Content Management ® Define Filter Profile for Document Exchange. This is where you create a filter profile, for example with the name SMALL_DOCUMENTS, and define the following attributes:

●     You have assigned this filter profile to the necessary business object types. You can make these settings in SAP CRM Customizing under Customer Relationship Management ® Basic Functions ® Content Management ® Assignment of Filter Profile to a Business Object Type. Assign this profile to the business object type BUS2000125 (task) as well as the business object type BUS2000126 (contacts).

Procedure

       1.      In Administration Console, create a replication object for the CRM_DOC_MBDOC BDoc type.

       2.      Create a publication for this replication object. If this publication is already available then you can use it to create the subscription.

       3.      Create a subscription for this publication.

       4.      Assign this subscription to the site that is based on the Groupware Adapter 01 (mBDoc) site type.
