Function Dialog Boxes

 

Dialog boxes are available throughout the mobile client application. Some dialog boxes appear automatically and others appear when you select them. They enable you to exchange information directly with the system.

Features

Some dialog boxes are related to specific functions in the application. They appear automatically when you enter the command for the function. These dialog boxes request that you enter information or make a selection to activate the function.

Some other common dialog boxes are:

  • Application Login – Requests your user ID and password, as well as a language to open the application.

  • General Options – Allows you to make personalized settings in the application. For more information, see General Options.

  • History and Favorites Options – Allows you to make settings for the application history, field history, and personalization. For more information, see History and Favorites Options.

  • Add to Favorites – Allows you to rename an entry before adding it to the favorites list. For more information, see Maintaining Favorites.

  • Organize Favorites – Allows you to rename, reorder, and delete favorites. For more information, see Maintaining Favorites.

  • Application About Information – Provides general information about the application and your system.

  • Message – Displays messages and system prompts.

  • Error Messages – Displays warnings, as well as user and system error messages. The Error Messages dialog box appears when you select the error icon in the status bar. For more information about the Error Messages dialog window, see Error Messages.
