Mail Form Test 

Use

You use this function to test the send process for different mail form channels such as E-Mail, Fax or letter before actually sending a mail.

Prerequisites

The mail form you have selected for testing is saved to the database. If you are in the middle of processing a mail form and try to run the test, you will be prompted to save your changes first.

Activities

       1.      Choose Goto ® Communication channel test or .

       2.      Under Communication channels, specify the communication channel for which the mail form is to be tested and enter the relevant data.

       3.      Enter a business partner in the Sender field.

Depending on the communication channel in question, this business partner's master record is used to determine the fax number, E-mail address (assuming you made no entry in the field E-mail recipient address), address information (for printing) and SMS number.

       4.      Select the relevant options under Test process.

Depending on the channel selected, the mail appears in a preview window and is sent to be transmitted, faxed, E-mailed, or printed as appropriate.
