Agreed Business
Appointments
You can use agreed business appointments to plan contact with your business partners.
You can use the agreed business appointments in the generation of call lists.
Agreed business appointments can include:
● Call appointments
● Delivery dates
● Visit appointments
When you distribute business partner master data from the CRM server to the ERP system, the data on agreed business appointments is not distributed to the ERP system.
You have made the required settings in Customizing under Customer Relationship Management ® Master Data ® Business Partner ® Basic Settings ® Define Time-Dependent Appointment Rule Categories.
In addition, you can define periods independently of the calendar year in the Customizing activity Define Periods for Appointment Rules.
You have made the required settings in the Business Data Toolset (BDT) and set the application TDAR in Business Partner control to active.
You can choose any of the following functions:
● Validity periods
The validity period refers to the time in which the appointment rule applies. You can choose one of the following
○ Date
○ Calendar week
○ Period

When you select more than one validity period, ensure that they do not overlap.
● Appointment rule types
You can enter various types of appointment rules. This allows you, for example, to enter agreed call appointments and agreed delivery dates for a particular business partner.
● Time-dependent appointment rules
You can define time-dependent appointment rules if you have already defined the periods in Customizing. You can also assign periods to an event by defining periods that change with the event.

You require a time-dependent appointment rule that is valid a fortnight after Easter each year. You can calculate the annual date for this appointment rule using a function module when you have entered the function module in the Customizing activity Define Periods for Appointment Rules under Permitted Function Modules.
● Exceptions
You can also enter exception rules (if, for example, an appointment rule is not applicable on a public holiday).
You can use the agreed business appointments as agreed call appointments when you are generating call lists.
The appointment rules are connected to the call lists when you generate the call lists: You use processing time to define the appointment rule that determines the period between order receipt and delivery. Either the call appointment (forward scheduling) or the delivery date (backward scheduling) can be fixed.
