Procedure documentation Releasing a Change List Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You use this procedure to save the new and modified versions of development objects in the Mobile Application Repository (MAR).

Prerequisites

You must be the owner of the change list or you are a user with the administrator profile.

Note

The administrator profile allows you to release change lists that are created by other users.

Procedure

       1.      Choose View à Change List Explorer.

The Change List Explorer window appears.

       2.      Click the change list with the secondary mouse button and choose Release.

The Release Change List window appears.

       3.      Enter a comment to describe the purpose of the change list.

       4.      Attach a transport order (referred to as a change request in CRM Server) to the change list by performing the following steps:

...

                            a.      Choose the button corresponding to the Transport Order field.

The Select Transport Order dialog appears.

                            b.      Choose the necessary option and select a transport order.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

If a change request is created already in the CRM Server, the change request is available to you as a transport order. You can attach this transport order to the change list. If change requests are not created in the CRM Server, then you must create a transport order in the Select Transport Order dialog and attach the same to the change list.

                            c.      Choose OK.

       5.      Choose Release.

Result

The development objects:

·        Created or modified are stored in the MAR. The baseline is updated with these objects.

·        Deleted are deleted in the MAR. These objects are no longer visible to you and other users.

Note

If any version of the object in the released change list conflicts with the corresponding baseline object, a collision occurs. For more information about resolving a collision see Resolving Collisions.

The change list you have released appears under the My Released node in the Change List Explorer.
