Use
You depict the functional structure of your enterprise as an
organizational plan, by creating organizational objects (organizational units, positions etc.) in the overview area and assigning them to objects that already exist.
Prerequisites
In order to be able to create a root organizational unit for a new organizational plan, you must have selected the create mode (General Attributes (CRM) Create screen). You can find the create mode in Customizing for CRM under Master Data ®

You are familiar with
Validity. Select a key date and preview period.You can create objects of the organizational unit and position type. In order that you can assign employees and/or users, master records must already exist for them.
In order that the system can automatically create a business partner master record for the organizational unit, integration between the business partner and organizational management must be set up in Customizing. You can find further information in the implementation guide (IMG) for Customer Relationship Management under Master Data -> Business Partner -> Business Partner - Organizational Management Integration.
Procedure
Creating Root Organizational Units
You have chosen create mode.
The system creates a root organizational unit with the provisional name "New Organizational Unit".
You have created your root organizational unit.
Creating Organizational Objects in the Structural Display
The Choose Relationship dialog box appears.
The system creates the object.
The system creates a business partner record (BP role: organizational unit) for an organizational unit. The address is copied.
