Procedure documentation Mapping a BDoc Type to a Site Type Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You use this procedure to map a BDoc type to a site type. This indicates that the data contained in the BDoc type is applicable to the sites of the mapped site type.

Prerequisites

You have created a BDoc type.

Procedure

...

       1.      Log on to the CRM server and choose Architecture and Technology ® Middleware ® Development ® Meta Object Modeling ® BDoc Modeler.

The CRM BDoc Modeler screen appears.

       2.      Choose Goto ® Site Type Mapping.

The Maintain Table Views: Initial Screen appears.

       3.      Choose Maintain.

The Determine Work Area: Entry dialog box appears.

       4.      Enter the name of the BDoc type and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The View for BDoc type/Site type mappings: Overview screen appears.

To map a BDoc type to a site type, the BDoc type must be active. For more information, see Processing BDoc Types.

       5.      Choose New Entries.

       6.      In the Site Type ID field, enter the site type ID.

In addition, you can choose F4 to select the site type ID from the list. 

       7.      Choose Save.

Example

If you map a BDoc type to the mobile client site type, it indicates that the data in the BDoc type is applicable to the mobile clients that are assigned to sites of the mobile client site type.
