The following table explains the different statuses of a process step:

Status

Description

Not Started

Indicates the initial status after you create a process step.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

This status is assigned to both normal and external steps.

In Process

Indicates that the execution of the process step is in progress.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

This status is assigned only to a normal step.

Error

Specifies that there is an error(s) in the execution of the step.

This status is assigned only to a normal step.

Completed

Indicates that the execution of the process step is complete.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

This status is assigned to both normal and external steps.
