Function documentation Message Flow Statistics Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

With this function you can display statistics on the message flow within the CRM Middleware.

Integration

To call up this function in your SAP Easy Access user menu choose Architecture and Technology ® Middleware ® Monitoring ® Message Flow ® Display Message Flow Statistics.

Features

The statistics provided by this function are divided into two main areas:

·        BDoc / service: kernel-application statistics

Application statistics from the R/3-Kernel for BDoc-types and services.

·        BDoc-/ site-/ queue statistics

Statistics for BDoc types, sites and queues.

Activities

After you have called up the function Display message flow statistics, check that the statistics are activated via Goto ® Activate statistics. To do this, proceed as follows:

·        If you want to check whether the application statistics from the R/3 kernel have been activated, choose Kernel application statistics.

In the displayed list of application statistics the row Middleware Message Hub Statistic is important. If the checkbox in the column Active is selected, these application statistics are already active and you can return to the previous screen. If not, choose Change, confirm the displayed information, select the field in the column Active, save your entries and return to the previous screen.

Note

If you are activating the Middleware Message Hub Statistic for the first time, the row is displayed in change mode only.

Note

So that the statistics are actually activated, you must have first scheduled the background job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR that regularly executes the ABAP program RSCOLL00. For more information about setting up the data collector RSCOLL00 see the CCMS documentation under configure data collector.

·        If you want to check whether statistics for BDoc types, sites and queues have been activated, choose Middleware Message Flow Statistics.

You can toggle the creation of statistics on and off with On/Off.

Note

When On is selected, the background job RSMWM_BSTAT_COLLECTOR is automatically scheduled (status: Collector: On). This job makes sure the data collector of the same name is regularly executed. If the collector has the status Collector: Off, you have to schedule the job manually.

If the statistics are activated, return to the screen Display message flow statistics and select the desired statistics.
