Application Class
You must assign an application class to every application that wants to use the Business Rule Framework (BRF). By assigning an application class, you ensure that there are no conflicts between different applications.
You can only create a maximum of one application class as the original in a system. This ensures that two different applications that use the BRF do not define the same application class by chance.
In addition, development partners or customers must ensure that they are operating in their assigned namespace (namespace prefix).
The
term “application class“ is approximately the same as the term
“application object“ in the Business Data Toolset (BDT). There is
no equivalent to the BDT term “application“, and this has not
proved to be necessary to date.
