Creating a Project

Procedure

1. Log on to the CRM server and choose Architecture and Technology ® Middleware ® Development ® Development Scenarios ® Middleware Object Navigator (transaction CMWMON).

The Middleware Object Navigator screen appears.

2. Select Projects from the drop-down list.

3. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text .

The Create Project screen appears.

4. Under Project Details, enter the following details:

Field name	Description	Req./Opt./Dep.	User action and values	Comment
Project ID	Specifies an identifier that uniquely identifies the project	Req.	Enter an ID for the project.	The ID must not exceed 10 characters.
Project Description	Specifies the description for the project	Req.	Enter a description for the project.
Project Responsible	Identifies the person responsible for the project	Opt.	Enter the user name of the person responsible for the project.	By default, the person who creates the project is considered the person responsible for the project.

5. Save the project.

The Prompt for transportable Workbench request dialog box appears.

6. In the Request field, enter the transport request and choose Enter.

To create a transport request, choose Create request.

Result

You have created a project. You can now create the scenarios that comprise the project.
