Changing Two Installed Bases 

Use

This function enables you to display, compare and process two different installed bases.

This function is useful if, for example, you want to compare different installed bases or move components between two different installed bases.

It is not possible to process or align the different statuses for an installed base.

This function is available for the SAP GUI and Mobile Client.

Prerequisites

The installed bases must be created in the system.

Features

After you have specified both the installed bases, their structures are displayed side by side in two screen areas.

The components can be processed within a structure or moved between the two structures by using the functions Cut, Copy and Insert or Drag & Drop.

Individual objects may not be copied. Each one may only appear in exactly one installed base.

This function is available by choosing Master Data ® Installed Base ® Change Two Installed Bases.

Special Features for the Mobile Client

This function is available by choosing Installed Base ®  Structural Changes Across IBases.
