Use

You can enter information on a business partner’s current and past employment situation.

Prerequisites

·        In Customizing, you have defined the occupations that you want to assign to business partners.

For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Cross-Application Components under SAP Business Partner ® Business Partner ® Persons ® Occupations ® Maintain Occupations.

·        In Customizing you have defined an industry system for these industries and defined this as the standard system.

For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Cross-Application Components under SAP Business Partner ® Business Partner ® Organizations ® Maintain Industry Systems and Industries.

Note

When you maintain employment data, you can only select industries that belong to the standard industry system.

·        In Customizing, you have defined the possible employee statuses, such as employed or self-employed, for example. This information can be important if a loan has different conditions for an employee and a self-employed person.

For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Financial Services under Account Origination ® SAP Business Partner for Financial Services ® Basic Settings ® Natural Person ® Define Employment Status.

Features

·        You only enter employment data for business partners of the type Person.

·        You can define any number of employment relationships for a business partner. The time validity of the employment relationships can overlap.

·        You can display a business partner’s employment data in the following ways:

¡        You can use the history to display all employment relationships in chronological sequence of employment.

¡        You can define a key date for which the system displays the relevant employment relationships.
