Function documentation Changing Status of Partner/Product Ranges Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

This report is used for making mass changes to the status of partner/product ranges (PPRs) you have created. You can change PPRs with the status "in process" or "active" to the status "active", "for deletion" or "for archiving and deletion".

Note

PPRs with the status "active" cannot be reset to "in process", as they may already be being used in business transactions.

PPRs that are used as a reference by other PPRs with the status "in process" or "active" are not considered if the new status is "for deletion" or "for archiving or deletion". The PPRs affected are listed in the application log.

Caution

When an active PPR references another PPR, which has the status "In Process", the referenced PPR is implicitly activated. This does not change the system status. Consequently a listing is valid, which is not released for the referenced PPR.

Example

PPR2 contains a listing for Easter eggs. Since the PPR has the status "In Process", the listing is not valid.

PPR1 references PPR2. Since PPR1 is active, the listing for Easter eggs is therefore valid. In this way, the Easter eggs are listed all year round.
