Process documentation Model an Application Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

Modeling an application is the last step you perform in developing your application. It involves assigning the top-level menus and arranging them in the order in which they are to appear. This work is performed in the Application Modeler.

A second aspect of application modeling requires you to specify the data flow between business components. Data flows on this level are defined using hyperlinks. The work is performed in the Hyperlink Modeler.

Prerequisites

You have modeled the business components required in the application.

Process Flow

...

       1.      Create an application.

       2.      Design the application layout.

       3.      If you want to define the behavior of the application, write scripts.

       4.      Link the hyperlink source and the hyperlink target.

...

       5.      If required, associate a custom resource to an application. For more information, see Associating a Custom Resource to an Interaction Component.

Result

You have modeled an application by assigning the top-level menus and defining the hyperlinks. You can generate the runtime files to test the mobile client application on your workstation.
