Partial Processing of Business
Transactions
You can choose individual items of a business transaction for processing. This function is especially useful for business transactions with many items. System performance is improved considerably, as only items that are actually processed are read into the system.

Note the following restrictions:
· An availability check is not possible during partial transaction processing.
· Changes to a business transaction header data are not possible during partial processing.
· The display of cumulated header data, for example the net value is not current during item processing.
· An interactive call for the credit check, pricing and delivery groups is not possible.
· Parallel transaction processing is only available in the SAP GUI.
You have made settings in Customizing that permit partial processing of business transactions. To do so, go into the Implementation Guide and choose Customer Relationship Management ® Transactions ® Basic Settings ® Define Transaction Types.
...
1. While processing the transaction, choose the items that you would like to change via the Locator. When individual items are being processed, the entire document is locked for processing by other users.
2. The system collects all changes to the business transaction. They are consolidated at a later time, when the complete pricing, status determination and credit check is carried out, and when transfer to the ERP system is triggered.
3. In order to consolidate changes to one or several business transactions, you have to run the Automatic Postprocessing of CRM Transactions report (CRM_ORDER_POSTPROCESSING). You can start the report in the following ways:
§ Manually
§ Regular scheduling as a batch job
§
Via the SAP
