Displaying Installed Bases in the Interaction
Center
Installed Base Management is included in the navigation area of the Interaction Center (IC) WinClient and WebClient as an independent component. You can use this component to search for installed base components relevant for processing during customer contact and to display the detailed data.
You can also copy the installed base components to a service business transaction as reference objects.
The installed bases and components must be created in Installed Base Management and therefore, already exist in the system.
In the IC WinClient, you can use the following to search for installed base components:
· Partner data
· Address data
· Installed base number
· Object data
To do this, choose the tab page Installed Base underneath the Business Partner dialog area
The installed base components found for partner or address are displayed as a list.
If you search using the installed base number, the installed base structure is displayed with the components contained within. The components can be selected from this structure.
The detailed data for the installed base components selected is displayed in the application area of the IC WinClient. In addition to the general data, you can also display product information/object information and the relationships - warranty, qualification requirements and measuring points. The data displayed depends on the component type.
