Displaying the Entire Structural Hierarchy of an Installed Base 

 

Use

 

Choose the function Expand Installed Base if you want to display the entire structural hierarchy of an installed base. You see the hierarchy for an entire installed base including any lower level installed bases.

This function is available in the SAP GUI.

 

Integration

 

You can make changes to the installed base or a component of the installed base. When making changes, select the installed base or relevant component in the structure display. Choose Goto -> Change Installed Base or use the right mouse key to click on the installed base (upper-most entry in the structure) or on an installed base component in the installed base structure display. Choose the entry Change Installed Base or Component from the dialog box that is displayed. The screen Change Installed Base: Detail Screen appears.

 

Prerequisites

 

The installed base must be created in the system.

 

Features

 

On the Expand Installed Base initial screen, choose the number of Levels Below that you want to see in the hierarchy structure and the installed base or a component . If you do not enter anything in the Levels Below field, only the first level of the hierarchy is displayed. A maximum of 99 levels can be displayed.
