Simulation

Purpose

The business process enables you to compare products and competitors and execute best-rate billing and hypothetical analyses.

You can use the simulation scenarios provided to exchange the rate components and products for the simulation, and can thus:

·        Create comparison calculations for different products

·        Simulate billing the supply installation with the grid usage rates for the bill receipt verification

·        Simulate billing all billing orders for one year with a new product

A flexible programming environment allows a simple implementation of individual simulation scenarios.

Prerequisites

The contract must be billable. A contract is regarded as billable if all master data is available and the rate data is properly defined.

Process Flow

The following business process runs in SAP R/3:

       1.      Assign simulation scenario

       2.      Simulate contract

You can execute the following simulations:

¡        Single simulation - billing

¡        Single simulation - backbilling and period-end billing

¡        Mass simulation

¡        Mass billing of simulation indexes
