Use

You can use this business process to enter, check, and save the current meter reading for the register of a device in the Interaction Center (IC) Web Client of a utility company. The meter reading is determined from the account. This is the case, for example, if an account cannot be accessed by a field sales representative during meter reading.

Process Flow

       1.      Identify premise (SAP CRM)

       2.      System searches for premise (SAP R/3)

The premise is searched for in SAP IS-U/CCS.

       3.      Confirm premise (SAP CRM)

       4.      Enter meter reading (SAP CRM)

In SAP CRM, you enter the meter reading provided by the account.

       5.      System checks meter reading (SAP CRM)

       6.      System check meter reading (SAP R/3)

In SAP IS-U/CCS, the data is checked for formal errors and for plausibility.

       7.      Save meter reading (SAP CRM)

       8.      System receives transferred data (SAP R/3)

SAP IS-U/CCS receives the changed data from SAP CRM.

Result

You have entered, checked, and saved the current meter reading.
