Dialog Form for the Goods Receiving
Hours
An additional dialog for the goods receiving hours has been implemented in order to allow you to be able to create simple appointment rules. This can always be used when the data is needed outside of the CRM Server (for example, for shipping). The dialog allows the usage of simple weekly morning and afternoon rules.
Only goods receiving hours that were created with the help of the simple rule can be distributed.
The following goods receiving hours cannot be distributed to other systems:
● Goods receiving hours whose maintenance is complex (for example, the linkage of weekly and monthly appointment rules)
● Goods receiving hours that contain exceptions
● Goods receiving hours that are not valid weekly
Using the transaction CRM_AC (mass maintenance for goods receiving hours) you can display all business partners whose goods receiving hours do not occur in the simple dialog form. You can process the rules in question accordingly and convert them into the simple format.
Make the necessary settings in the Customizing activity Establish Dialog Form for Goods Receiving Hours and Visiting Hours by choosing Business Partner ® Basic Settings.
For data exchange to take place, the calendars in the OLTP System and CRM Server must be identical.
Based on whether the indicator is set in Customizing, a check is performed to see whether a rule can be processed using the simple dialog. This setting is client-dependent.
If complex appointment rules have already been created, these can be processed using the complex dialog, as before.
The simple dialog is called only if:
● The system has checked that a rule can be processed using the simple dialog
● The rule is processed later (for example in the context of the above-mentioned mass maintenance) using the simple dialog.
In the case of complex appointment rules, you receive a message that they are not distributable. You can process the rules accordingly, so that the simple dialog can be used.
Set the indicator in the Customizing activity if a data exchange of the goods receiving hours with external systems, such as the ERP system, is planned.

You can also make the setting if the data is not exchanged with other systems. In this way you prevent, for example, too complex appointment rules being created.
