Definition

Allows business partner data (without relationships) to be sent and received.

Use

Exact copies of the business partner are distributed to the target system via this interface. This is possible from Release SAP_ABA 640 upwards.

The business partner keys (meaning the business partner ID and business partner GUID) remain the same across the systems.

Structure

The interface uses the message type BUPA_INBOUND_MAIN_SAVE_M for which the following IDoc types are available:

·        BUPA_INBOUND_MAIN_SAVE_M01

·        BUPA_INBOUND_MAIN_SAVE_M02

·        BUPA_INBOUND_MAIN_SAVE_M03

These IDoc types are a 1:1 mapping of the complex structure BUS_EI_EXTERN.

The following data sets are supported:

·        Central business partner data

·        Roles

·        Bank data

·        Payment cards

·        Industries

·        Identification numbers

·        Tax numbers

·        Communication types

·        Addresses

·        Business hours

·        Status

Integration

Processing is controlled using the ALE/EDI Customizing and the table CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU. Make the necessary settings in Customizing of the Business Partner under Data Distribution ® Activate Function Modules.
