Flow

Use

You can create statistics on the current workload in time periods of minutes for the current R/3 instance. The statistics can be created for BDoc types and for CRM Middleware services.

The statistics cover the entire resource use of the Flow. BDoc types started synchronously are not specially listed as their values are already contained in the values of the BDoc types with which the flow is started.

Prerequisites

In the initial screen of the Display Message Flow Statistics transaction you have chosen Last minutes workload.

Procedure

Proceed as follows:

  1. In the dialog box enter the time period in minutes for which you want to create the workload statistics for your current R/3 instance.
  2. Choose Continue. The BDoc type application statistics are displayed for the time period specified.
  3. Choose Goto ® Service statistics, if you want to display statistics for the respective CRM Middleware services.

Note

As the statistics on the services contain redundant values, the values in the Total line could be greater than the actual total usage of the service.

Result

The current workload statistics for BDoc types or for services are displayed.

In the statistics for BDoc types you can display, via the Detail button (or by double-clicking), detailed statistics for individual BDoc types, as well as the workload for individual BDoc types for specific services (Per service button). Here you can still display the workload per service ( via the Detail button or by double-clicking ).

In the statistics for services you can display, via the Detail button (or by double-clicking), detailed statistics for individual services, as well as the workload for individual services for specific BDoc types (Per BDoc type button). Here you can still display the workload per BDoc type ( via the Detail button or by double-clicking ).

In all detail statistics you can display processing steps for the selected BDoc type or service by choosing Single steps. In column T the object type (B for BDocs or O for OLTP objects) are displayed. In column Cla the BDoc class (MOB for synchronization BDocs or MSG for messaging BDocs) is displayed and in column Ctx the Flow Context is displayed.

All display variants provide a sort function with which you can sort a column you have selected.

Note

Seemingly incorrect values in the Total columns are due to rounding effects, since the values are made available in milliseconds for internal calculation, but are displayed in seconds in the totals columns. This rounding effect occurs particularly where there are relatively small values or very few statistic records. In such cases, the original values in milliseconds can also be taken from the individual records.
