Using The Call Function 

Use

In order to determine the criteria values for generating subscriptions and the corresponding employee keys, you can specify the call-up of an appropriate function module for criteria fields.

Prerequisites

You have called up the subscription generator wizard in the administration console and have selected an intelligent publication. You are in Setting criteria rules in the wizard.

You have created your function module.

You can find a template for building your function module in the function group SMOE_FUNCTION_TEMPLATES, function module SMOE_SUBSCR_AGENT_FUNCTION. Copy this template. Refer to the function module documentation. The function module interfaces cannot be changed.

Procedure

Proceed as follows:

       1.      Select the potential criteria field for which you want to define a call function and choose  (Call function).

       2.      Enter the name of your function module and choose  (Copy).
