Mobile Client Companion Framework API

The framework used for the mobile client companion development provides only a subset of Application Programming Interfaces (API) that are provided for the development of a mobile client application. You use these APIs to programmatically manipulate specific operations, which support the runtime behavior of a companion. The APIs that are supported for a companion are listed under this section.

We strongly recommend that you must use the APIs that are listed in this section only. Using any framework function other than the recommended API results inconsistencies when you use the companion on a PDA device.
