Personalizing Variables in Web
Applications 
You can personalize single variables or all variables in a Web application. This means that you assign the variables to a value permanently or until you remove the personalization. Personalization means that you do not always have to make the settings for a variable, that is your personal settings, manually over and over again.
The
icon tells you that your variable has not
been personalized.

1. Assign a value to the variable. See Variables Screen.

To
personalize a variable, click on the
icon
and choose Personalize.
3. The system removes the personalized variable from the variables screen.

To display
the personalized variables and their values, choose All Variables. The
personalized variables are displayed. The icon
shows that the variable has been
personalized.
· To hide the personalized variables again, choose Free Variables. Only those variables that are not personalized are now displayed.

The option of hiding personalized variables relates to the basic idea of personalization: Personalized variables have a permanently defined value. Your attention is directed at the free variables that have not been personalized.

personalization, click on the
icon
and choose Delete Personalization.

The
icon shows that the variable is no longer
personalized.

If you want to set another value as the personalized value in the variables screen, overwrite the relevant value in the input field. You do not have to delete the personalization in this case.
