Difference Viewer 

Purpose

You use this tool to view differences between two versions of a code object. You can use the default difference viewer provided by Mobile Application Studio (MAS) or a third-party difference viewer.

Features

·        It can be opened from the:

¡        Version Tree, where you can view differences between any two versions of a code object

¡        Change List Browser, where you can view differences between any change list version and the baseline version of the code object

¡        Collision Viewer, where you can view differences between two colliding versions of a code object

·        It displays code existing for the two versions in a grid format.

·        It highlights the differences between versions in yellow. If the difference between versions is omission in one of the objects, the highlight is gray.

Constraints

The third-party difference viewer must be capable of displaying differences in text format.
