Procedure documentation Integrating Help Using the Properties Window Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Prerequisites

·        You have identified:

¡        The help filename for integrating with the application. You can integrate any CHM file irrespective of the authoring tool. For example, Microsoft HTML Help Workshop and Knowledge Warehouse both generate CHM files.

¡        The required Logical Information Object (LOIO) for integrating a help topic with a tile set.

·        The current Mobile Application Repository (MAR) owns the tile set or application.

Procedure

Integrating help for an application

       1.      In Solution Explorer, open the required application in the edit mode.

The Application Designerand the Properties window appear.

       2.      In the Properties window, in the Help File Name field, specify the help file name.

Note

At runtime, framework loads the help file from the installation path where the help file is located. 

       3.      Choose Save.

       4.      Close all windows.

       5.      Release the change list.

Integrating help for a tile set

...

       1.      In Solution Explorer, open the required tile set in the edit mode.

The Tile Set Designer and the Properties window appear.

       2.      In the Properties window, in the Help Context ID field, specify the LOIO of the topic that corresponds to the tile set.

       3.      Choose Save.

       4.      Close all windows.

       5.      Release the change list.

Result

You can now generate the application that contains the integrated help.

Note

If you want to test the help integration for a tile set, select the Help Modeler from the Tools menu.
