Associating a Business Rule to a Business
Object or its Property 
You can use this procedure to impose business constraints on the required business object or its property.
You have modeled the necessary business rules such as; save rules, delete rules, or property rules.
1. In Solution Explorer, click the required business object or its property with the secondary mouse button and choose View Associated Rules.
The Associate Business Rules window appears.
2. Select the appropriate radio button to indicate the type of rule.

You must perform this step only if you want to associate a save rule or delete rule with a business object.
3. Load the rules as instructed in the Associate Business Rules window.
The system loads the available rules of the specific type that you have selected.
4. Select a rule.

You can select multiple rules, if required.
5. Choose Associate.
The rule that you associate with a business object or its property appear in the Associated Rules list box.
You can associate a property rule only with a business object property. However, you can associate either a save rule or a delete rule with a business object.
6. If required, define a sequence in which the associated rules have to be executed during runtime.
7. Choose Save.
