Mobile Clients are usually laptop computers running the Field Sales or Field Service application client. Clients typically connect temporarily (e.g. via modem) to the CRM Server to exchange data.

The Field Sales/Service client includes all the software needed for offline data entry and processing, as well as the middleware required for data exchange and communication with the CRM Server.
