Success Key Measure Planning in Mobile Sales
You use success key measures to evaluate the success of a particular campaign or trade promotion. For example, you can evaluate the success of a television advertisement and the increase in sales it brings.
In Mobile Sales, you can synchronize the following data with the BW-BPS system for success key measure planning:
· Dates
· Key measures
· Units of measure
· Currencies

The columns for the units of measure and currency are displayed only if the values for those infoObjects are present. You can display these columns by implementing the following offline business add-in (BAdI) in the Mobile Application Studio: UPXMKTKPISCREENCELLMERGING. For more information, see SAP Note 663841.
You have set up the mobile client for offline planning. For more information, see Planning in Mobile Sales for Campaigns and Trade Promotions.
You have assigned success key measures to a campaign type in Customizing for Marketing Planning and Campaign Management at Key Figure Planning ® Define Assignment of Success Key Figures to Campaign Type.
You have created a campaign or trade promotion and assigned the basic data, including the campaign type, objective, and start and end dates.
You have assigned a planning profile group to the campaign or trade promotion
that includes the relevant layouts for key measure planning. See Basic Data in
Campaigns or
Basic Data in Trade
Promotions.

If the planning profile group you have assigned is valid for success key measure planning, the Marketing/Success Key Measure Plan. tile set will appear in the navigation bar.
To perform success key measure planning, in the Marketing/Success Key Figures tile set you must maintain data related to the success of the campaign or trade promotion, such as key performance indicators and related due dates. After you save the data you maintain in the Marketing/Success Key Figures tile set, these success measures then appear in the Marketing/Success Key Measure Plan. tile set, where you can perform success key measure planning.
The success of the campaign or trade promotion is measured in either quantities or currencies. You can maintain the planned and actual data for these measures. If the variance displayed by the system is a negative number, it reflects the difference that you need to make up. To do this, you run trade promotions.
When you have finished with the planning, you save your entries. The next time you synchronize your data with the server, the system will upload the planning figures to BW-BPS.
