Reboot Command 

Use

This command is used to explicitly initiate a restart of the target machine.

Normally, the Mobile Upgrade Console automatically detects when a restart is required and initiates this. However, in some situations an explicit restart must be triggered.

While upgrading from one support package to another, the unit Upgrade Client Framework (that runs a setup program to upgrade framework binaries) is run in a mode where it suppresses a restart when the setup is completed. Instead the restart must be triggered only at the end of all the units in the upgrade. In such a case, you will use the Reboot command to explicitly initiate a restart at the end.
