Attribute Sets 
Attribute sets are used to group attributes created specifically within CRM Marketing together for a marketing-related purpose. Each attribute set therefore contains those attributes belonging to a business partner that are relevant for the purpose/application at hand.
Attribute sets are used in applications such as CRM E-Selling and CRM Telesales. In E-Selling, they record marketing attributes for all business partners visiting Web shops, enabling the business partner to be assigned to a marketing profile. In Telesales, they can be used to profile Telesales agents.
Attribute sets are integrated in the following areas:

E-Selling
In E-Selling, they can be used to record marketing attributes for all business
partners that visit a Web shop. The business partners can then be assigned to
a marketing profile. The relevant attribute set is assigned to a Web shop in
the transaction for maintaining Web shops (Internet Sales ® Maintain

Interaction Center
In CRM Telesales, attribute sets are used to create profiles for telesales
agents in the context of business routing. For more information, see

CRM Mobile Sales
In the Mobile Sales application,
you assign attribute sets to business partners in the Business Partners/Marketing screen. You
can also make a mass assignment of attribute sets to target groups. For more

In the
business partner master record, there is a tab page on which you can maintain
the attributes for a business partner. For more information, see

You can also make the assignment of attribute sets to the business partners from within Marketing. Choose Customer Relationship Management ® Marketing ® Segmentation ® Marketing Attributes ® Assign Attribute Values to Business Partners.
You can also use a range of reports to perform mass assignment or mass deletion of attribute sets. These reports partially automate the tasks associated with attribute sets. You can find them under Customer Relationship Management ® Marketing ® Tools ® Expert Tools. You can find documentation on the corresponding reports if you place the cursor over the report and choose the Documentation button.
