Creating a Dial-Up
Connection 
Prerequisites
You have installed Dial-up networking on the mobile client.
Procedure

1. On the taskbar, choose Start ® Settings ® Network and Dial-up Connections ® Make New Connection.
The Welcome to the Network Connection Wizard screen appears.
2. Choose Next.
The Network Connection Type screen appears.
3. Select the type of network connection and choose Next.
The Phone Number to Dial screen appears.
4. In the Phone number: field, enter the phone number and choose Next.
The Connection Availability screen appears.
5. Select the required connection availability option and choose Next.
The Completing the Network Connection Wizard screen appears.
6. In the Type the name you want to use for this connection field, enter a name for the connection and choose Finish.
The Connect <connection name> dialog box appears.
Result
You have created a dial-up connection. You can immediately dial-up to establish the network connection or dial-up at a later point of time.
The newly created dial-up connection appears in the Use Dial-Up drop-down list (under Connection Options in the Advanced Settingstab) only after the system administrator enters its details in the SMO5CONDST table.
