Restoring DataSource 3.x 

Use

In the original system, you can restore a DataSource 3.x from a DataSource. You use a transport to restore the DataStore 3.x in the target system.

Prerequisites

You exported and archived the relevant 3.x objects when you migrated the DataSource 3.x.

Procedure

       1.      In the original system (development system), in the maintenance for the migrated DataSource (transaction RSDS), choose DataSource  ® Restore.

       2.      Specify a transport request.

       3.      If required, delete the dependent transformation (R3TR TRFN) and data transfer process (R3TR DTPA) objects.

       4.      Transport the restored DataSource 3.x (R3TR ISFS), along with its dependent objects, into the target system.
