Working with Documents in the Data Warehousing Workbench 

Use

In the Data Warehousing Workbench (BEx Web runtime, ABAP), you can access documents on the BI server from the Administration ® BI Metadata Search /BI Documents functional area.

In your BI system, you have the following options for creating or editing a document for an individual BI object:

·        You can edit documents from the maintenance transactions for metadata and master data from the Documents screen.

·        You can edit documents in the Administration ® BI Metadata Search / BI Document functional area of the Data Warehousing Workbench.

The same functions for creating, importing, editing, exporting, and displaying documents are available on both interfaces. In the  Administration ® BI Metadata Search / BI Document functional area of the Data Warehousing Workbench, you can display and edit documents from all document classes using different search criteria. Or you can go to document administration.
