Authorizations for the Category
Editor
You can set up authorizations to control access to the various functions of the category editor.
You create authorizations by defining values for authorization objects in authorization profiles. You then assign these to users or user groups using roles.
You manage authorization objects in user or role maintenance. To do this, in the SAP menu choose the following:
Architecture and Technology ® System Administration® User Maintenance ® Users
and
Architecture and Technology ® System Administration® User Maintenance ® Role Administration à Roles
The authorization object for the category editor is CRM_CATEGO.
For more
information on authorizations, choose Help
® Application Help in User or Role
Maintenance. For more detailed information about authorizations, see
SAP Authorization
Concept.
