Definition

Company data about an employee (business partner type person).

Use

You can display employees together with the most important data about them, such as function, department, room, and telephone number, in the context of Structure linkAccount and Contact Management.

You can search for and display employee data. Company data about an employee is integrated in the information displayed and includes:

·        HR-specific data, such as the employee group, employee subgroup, personnel area, subgroup.

·        Data created in the organizational model and linked to the employee by means of an employee relationship with an organization. This includes data such as building, department, room, telephone, email.

The relationship is created in the organizational model by creating an organization, positions, and persons, and assigning the person to a position in the organizational structure. This creates a business partner relationship of type “Is Employee Of” in the business partner database tables.

The standard tab pages allow you to do the following:

·        Display an overview of the accounts for which the employee is responsible on the Account Overview tab page.

·        Display an interaction history for the employee with all closed business activities.

·        See the open and planned activities on the Activities tab page.

·        Attach documents and enter notes.

·        Send e-mails and faxes directly from the same screen. An activity, which can be displayed on the Activities and Interaction History tab pages, is created in the background for this transaction. Using the hyperlink, you can navigate to the relevant transaction in the Activities application, where the texts of the e-mail as well as attachments to the e-mail are stored.
