Use

You create users to enable customers and employees to use your Web-based applications. The users for the various applications are made up of different components which are mapped together into a user structure. For example to create a user in the B2B Web shop you need to maintain the following components:

·        SU01 user

User type: Dialog

·        Business Partner

Maintained in the roles Contact Person and Internet User

·        Business Partner relationship to a company

The business partner must be assigned to this company in the role of Is Contact Person For

These components make up the user structure. The user structure, combined with a service user, for RFC calls between the application and backend system, and authorization roles, enables the user to log on to the B2B Web shop.

The table below provides details on the various components needed for users in the Web-based applications.
