For the following section, you require detailed knowledge of IS-U Billing.

In SAP BW, target groups are selected according to IS-U-specific criteria, based on the 0UCMA_C01 InfoCube (target group selection by turnover and consumption). In addition to master data characteristics, this InfoCube contains key figures for consumption and turnover. Therefore, before the InfoCube can be queried the consumption history must have been configured.

The configuration process differs based on whether your system is an upgrade of a previous SAP IS-U release, or has been migrated from an existing system.
