Navigation Options
On the Interaction Center (IC) WebClient interface, in addition to navigation using a mouse pointer, you can navigate using breadcrumbs, keyboard navigation, and the navigation bar.
· Breadcrumbs
A virtual navigational tool that tracks your "steps" in the application. The title of each screen you navigate to is recorded as you move through the application. These recorded titles are called breadcrumbs. You can display breadcrumbs at any time by using the dropdown list box that appears in the breadcrumbs section of the IC WebClient interface.
The breadcrumbs function allows you to verify your location or to retrace your steps in the IC WebClient, as necessary. Breadcrumbs are cleared when you complete an interaction by choosing End.
· Keyboard Navigation
A navigation feature that lets you move the cursor around each screen using the keyboard instead of the mouse. Keyboard navigation allows you to:
¡ Use predefined keyboard shortcuts and define your own shortcuts
By default, shortcut keys are deactivated. If you want to use shortcuts, you must first activate them in the index. Also in the index, you can define any keys you like as shortcut keys. For more information, see Index.
You can then use the shortcuts by choosing escape key (ESC) followed by the defined shortcut key(s).
¡ Tab through all input fields and buttons on each screen
¡ Use the Enter key to activate default buttons
The default button is highlighted on each screen. When you tab through buttons, the highlighting changes to indicate which button can currently be activated with Enter.
· Navigation Bar
Allows you to navigate easily to the most common IC WebClient functions. For more information, see Navigation Bar.

Do not use the browser toolbar buttons, for example, Back, Forward, Refresh, and Cancel, to navigate within the IC WebClient.
