Message Monitor for Order
This program enables you to create lists of messages for sales transactions. These messages are actions that are triggered by the Post Processing Framework (PPF) and are used, for example, to inform your customer about the status of a sales order. Therefore, you can monitor and trigger the processing of actions, such as order confirmations for sales transactions.
For more information about creating and processing actions, see:
Features
The system generates messages when you create or change sales transactions. For example, order confirmations are created when the sales order is sent to SAP ECC for delivery, or the status of the sales order is changed. You can output these messages in a list using certain selection criteria. You can execute messages that have not been executed yet, for example, trigger the printing process or generate an email, directly from the list.

It is only possible to list messages that are triggered at header level.
If you have set the processing time Process Using Selection Report for a message in Customizing, you can use this program to select the message and trigger processing.

If you regularly schedule the program as a background job, the system can automatically start certain messages, whose start conditions have been fulfilled, at a particular time.
Define a variant for this in which you specify your selection criteria, and select the flag Process Without Dialog.
You can select the following selection criteria:
● Action definition
● Action profile
● Processing status
● Processing type
● Processing time

In order for it to be possible to execute the program successfully, you always have to choose at least one application-specific selection criterion during selection.
If you select the flag Process Without Dialog, the system automatically processes the selected messages without first outputting a list.
Output
You receive a list of messages corresponding to your chosen selection criteria. Sales-order specific data is displayed alongside action-specific data.
In the Status column, you can see whether the message:
● Is not processed (yellow)
● Has been processed successfully (green)
● Has been processed incorrectly (red)
You can select individual messages in the list, and:
● Trigger processing manually. To do this, choose Process in the toolbar.
● Display detailed information on the message. To do this, choose Details in the toolbar.
● Display the message output. To do this, choose Preview in the toolbar.
● Display a processing log. To do this, choose Processing Log in the toolbar.
You can also display whether the message has been changed, repeated, created manually, or locked. If necessary, change your table layout settings with Change Layout.
Activities
To display unprocessed messages, proceed as follows:
● In the SAP Easy Access Menu, choose Sales ® Monitoring ® Display Messages for Sales Order. The screen Action Monitor appears.
●
Enter more
selection criteria, for example:

● Choose Execute.
You see a list of unprocessed messages that have been created in the system up until today.
