Use

If data assigned to a site, is not received in the data set of the site or if the site receives data that is not assigned to the site, you may have to update the LookUp tables. See also: Modeling the Realignment.

The LookUp tables can be checked and updated based on the definitions in the Administration Console concerning the Object Type subscription and interlinkage. If required, data sets are added or deleted. This is done creating SUBCHECK jobs.

Prerequisites

You can only check and update tables for sites whose type allows for the processing of sBDoc Types. This assignment is performed in the BDoc Modeler. See also: Modeling Synchronization or Mobile Application BDoc Types

Procedure

Proceed as follows:

...

       1.      Choose Architecture and Technology ® Middleware ® Administration ® Administration Console and choose the Object Type subscription or interlinkage.

       2.      Double-click on the subscription or interlinkage and choose:

                            a.      Create SUBCHECK Job in the context menu or

                            b.      the button This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Create SUBCHECK Job)

                            c.      Extras ® Create SUBCHECK Job

The SUBCHECK Job is created.

       3.      To check the LookUp tables of deleted interlinkages or several existing interlinkages, choose the Object Type interlinkage.

       4.      However, do not choose a certain interlinkage, but:

                            a.      the button This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Create SUBCHECK Job)

                            b.      Extras ® Create SUBCHECK Job

       5.      You can choose Existing Interlinkages or Deleted Interlinkages.

       6.      To perform the check, choose Create Job.

 

Result

The LookUp tables are updated with the corresponding entries in the SUBCHECK queue. The check and the update is performed for all sites assigned to this subscription. You can monitor the SUBCHECK jobs choosing Architecture and Technology ® Middleware ® Monitoring ® Queues ® Monitor R&R Queues. See also: Replication and Realignment Queues.

Example

If customer data is missing on a mobile client, the SUBCHECK job for the subscription that is based on the publication CAPGEN_OBJECT_WRITE has to be triggered.

If customer contacts are missing on the mobile client, the SUBCHECK job for the interlinkage CAP/CON has to be triggered. CON is checked and updated.
