Single-Line Set Type (with Multiple
Use) 
Definition
The set type shown below consists of single-value attributes with the attribute types checkbox, amount, unit of measure, language, currency, string, time, decimal number and date. The following settings were made in set type maintenance:
· The flag Multiple Use is set
· The flag Field Is Key is not set
· The flag Multiple Value is not set
Note that in this graphic there are several set types on the screen (that are not displayed); this is the reason for the header Other Set Types. The relevant set type can be selected in the field Set Type.
Example
You want to save certain vehicle data in your system.
· Color
· Initial registration
· Gull-wing doors (yes/no)
· Total weight
· Date of manufacture
· Number of gears
All of this information can be described using single-value attributes because only one value is possible each time. You define the following attributes:
